Guacamayo® Pisco Puro (pronounced WA-CAW-MY-YO) is a true pure clear Peruvian Pisco. One translation of the word Guacamayo® is from the Quechua Indians of SE Peru and means “Macaw”. “Guaca” means scream or cry, and “Mayo” means river.
Guacamayo® Pisco Puro is a type of Brandy that is distilled from grapes. There are five different types of Pisco sold in South America and Pisco Puro is the highest quality. Guacamayo® Pisco Puro is hand crafted, distilled, bottled and boxed in Peru specifically for Pacific Importers and Exporters.
Pisco Puro is a smooth unique clear Brandy and is best compared to other white spirits such as a high quality Silver Tequila, (Tequila Blanco), or a high quality Vodka.
We have personally visited the vineyards where the grapes are grown, the distillation plant where the Pisco is prepared, as well as the bottling plant where the Pisco is bottled, labeled, and boxed for us.
